And off we go...
Well, this is the last post in the United States from us for the next TWO YEARS! We are finishing the last details of packing and spending time with Jake's family. We have had a wonderful time with everyone and are going to miss the family and friends very much. Ill let you know when we get to Korea and are a little settled.

Grand Tetons
Wow... I cant even begin to tell you all the things that we have been doing while in Utah. It has been a BLAST. After many family gatherings, home projects, money spending trips, and other things... we have taken a trip to the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. It is a beautiful place that the Fritz family has gone to many times before and now I am a part of that.
This is just one of the awesome views that you will find up there. Normally in May it doesnt have THIS much snow. But we were "lucky" enough to have snow and 34 degree weather the whole time we were there!!!!

This is Jake and I on the one of the bridges over the Snake River, we think. :)

And you have to have a beautiful family shot! This is just one.

We have had good memories while here and spent lots of time with family. We leave for Korea in ONE week and cant even think about how much we are going to miss it here in the States!!

Life away from Rucker.
Well.. it finally happened. We have LEFT Ft Rucker. It should be feeling AMAZING right about now, but since it was a long drive and its the summer time, I think we are just happy to not be doing much of anything. Let me fill you in on life...
The movers came and went with all our stuff. We have stuff on a ship to Korea, with the military to be flown over, in storage back in Ozark, AL and with us to be taken to our parents houses. We cleaned for 4 days (since we burned ourselves out each day, it took awhile). But we signed out of everything and are now "homeless". We stayed at the hotel on post the last night in AL.
We left Tues morning and drove. Thinking we would push ourselves, we planned to stay in Fort Smith, AR and arrive by 9p. Ya, that did not happen. We went thru northern AL and got detoured because of the tornado that hit a week prior. Then we got detoured again because of flooding in Memphis and Arkansas. Apparently when you live in AL, you dont hear about things that happen elsewhere. We had NO idea there was flooding. So, we got detoured AGAIN. It was bad the first two days. We didnt get to our hotel rooms til about 11p each night and the children got SO tired of being stuck in the car. But the last day of driving brought us to LV where we will spend the weekend.
Life is crazy. This time next month, we are in KOREA and living a new culture. Its going to be an interesting experience, but one we are looking forward to.

The boys lately.
It seems like we have so much to do since we are leaving here soon. But really, we just sit around and wait for Daddy to come home from school every day! But here is how we pass the time.
Sam was holding my mixing bowl for me.

James will say "cheese" when he wants me to take a picture.

And James likes to pretend that he is an "angel". We all know the truth though!

Anywho.. things are still the same. We are just trying to separate the house and get ready to hit the road!

BROTHERS 2
BROTHERS
SO I have been trying to find pics of the boys that show they are sooooo going to be best friends. This is what I just found.
This is Sam on 11.20.10. Notice how short the sleeves are on this outfit...

Now here is James, with the same outfit, on 11.25.08. Almost exactly 2 years earlier!

I love it. I am going to find more!

Korea UPDATE
You always have to start a blog with a good set of pictures. So here they are.
We bought James a PT outfit. I like this picture because you can definitely see that James loves to be like Daddy. Even their hands are in the same form.

This is James getting ready to bowl. This was his first time and MAN, did he whine!

We got him a 7lbs ball. And yes, he picked it up himself from the holder, took it to the lane, and put it on the "slide".

And then he would stand there and wait. Wouldn't wait TOO long because he would run and get the next ball before the first one made it down the lane.

Anyways, James had a wonderful time with Jake's parents while they were here and as you can see, he LOVES to bowl. He ended up playing 3 people's games just so that he could continually go. It was adorable, but we won't be doing THAT for awhile!!
And now on to Korea. We got an email today from someone (I dont know who sends them) and it was informing us that the boys and I WILL be able to go WITH Jake to Korea AT the same time. We knew that we would be going, but thought we would have to wait a few months and stay in UT. But this is great news! We get to take this 2hr PLUS 14hr flight to Korea TOGETHER!!!! And from our understanding, Sam gets a ticket too (meaning he gets a seat and doesn't just stay on our lap). So as sad as I am not to be able to spend time with family, I am MORE excited that I will not have to do this trip ALONE!!!! We will be leaving Ft Rucker on May 9th and will be heading for Korea on June 7th! As we start to get medical records, make appts, organize our stuff, and plan everything, we are realizing just how much work there is in all this. But hopefully, we will be able to make this a Wonderful journey and a LOT of fun! Wish us luck!
